Meteora Autumn 2023

The Meteora is a rock formation in northern Greece. It was home to twenty four monasteries clinging to the extraordinary rock pillars and rounded boulders, built to protect the monks from persecution. Six remain today. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its architecture, art, beauty and religious significance.
