The Slate Trail is an 83 mile circular long distance walk in Eryri (Snowdonia) exploring the region's slate mining heritage. The trail passes over mountain slopes and remote moors, along beautiful river valleys and through towns and villages, once dependent on the industry, including Bethesda, Llanberis, Nantlle, Beddgelert, Bleinau Ffestiniog, Pen Machno and Betwys-y-Coed.
